The year 2025 will be another great year for fans of the legendary band Metallica. Their world tour M72 World Tour, which began in 2023, continues in 2025 with stops in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and one confirmed stop in Europe.
Metallica will kick off 2025 with a series of concerts in North America. From April to June, they will play more than 20 stadium shows across the United States and Canada. Their unique concept No Repeat Weekend remains unchanged—each weekend includes two shows with different setlists, ensuring that fans won’t hear the same song twice. Special guests like Pantera, Ice Nine Kills, Limp Bizkit, and Suicidal Tendencies promise an unforgettable musical experience.
After the American leg of the tour, Metallica will also visit Australia and New Zealand at the end of 2025. The exact dates are already confirmed, and the tour will include cities such as Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland.
As for Europe, only one stop has been confirmed so far:
July 5, 2025, Villa Park Stadium, Birmingham, England
Metallica will perform as part of a unique event, Back to the Beginning, celebrating the final concert of Ozzy Osbourne with Black Sabbath in their original lineup after 20 years.
In addition to Metallica, this charity event will feature: Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, and Alice in Chains.
This concert is already sold out, which comes as no surprise. However, fans still believe that Metallica will announce more European dates. The band is known for adding new destinations—hope lives on!
